MEET THE INSPECTOR Nate Thompson Nate Thompson has worked in the construction industry for over 10 years. He originally started out working for an electrical contractor in Zeeland, MI where he earned his Journeyman Electrician License. He also began remodeling houses with his father during this time. Nate and his wife Lisa, moved to the Grand Rapids area in 2007 to start their family. Nate enjoys spending time with his three young boys, playing/watching sports, and the outdoors. He founded A Closer Look Home Inspection and has been inspecting residential properties throughout West Michigan. Nate joined the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI) in 2010. Nate is a born challenger who is hard working, self-motivated and a reliable individual. He is well mannered and a flexible individual who enjoys the day-to-day contact of the working environment and its challenges. He is well presented, punctual, efficient and with an eye for detail takes his work seriously. He is dedicated to maintaining high quality standards.
